Twitter

Update: Twitter fixed the problem in less than 12 hours, which is phenomenal customer service for a free service! I was so happy how thorough they were, though they have not explained what may have lead to it- perhaps they are still investigating- who knows.

Just logged in to find that my twitter account was suspended. HMMMMM My husband checked his and sure enough the same thing. LOL! Can't wait to have that resolved.

Naturally He has his hunch as to who and why and how it happened. I kinda wonder if it wasn't on account of the the freako I reported for using XXX images in their profile. Though I know some people get suspended by total mistake and end up painstakingly just waiting it out. Can't complain it is a free service.

On the happy flip side- It forced me to be more productive! Social Media really can be addictive and really can be creativity killer. As soon as I get my scanner hooked up- I will have to share what I got done tonight! :D

Moving and Moving

What an unbelievably busy last few weeks. It feels like I am on the information highway. So many new mentors popping up to share valuable information, so many new prospects for commissions in my genre, so many new ideas to mull over and set on the schedule.

I am in the middle of moving closer to my studio, closer to our business, closer to a bubbling arts community. I LOVE our new location! Granted the house is in the throws of some restoration- but the work they are doing looks GREAT. I love the solid original wood floors, love the woodwork around the windows, love the gigantic old oak trees in my yard. It is a soothing and inspiring place and a few minutes walk from my studio, my favorite coffeeshop, the library, the bank! Being able to walk is so nice and so Green.

We were working towards a house in the country, luckily that fell through. It brought to mind the prophetic words of my best friend "I am confident you will find the best thing for you." She is always right- and never tries to be. HOW DOES SHE DO IT! LOL.I am so looking forward to her visit next month. The back yard is so huge and it is so quiet at night we feel like we are in the country, and we can still have our camp fires! :D

I have been stressing a bit over the lack of painting I am doing in the throws of it all. However, when you are dedicated to working as an artist, and having taken tips from the mentors I mentioned- There is always work that can be found. So I am researching, brainstorming, working online, and whatever I can squeeze in where ever I can do it. Something is done everyday- and that keeps the stress and work load very low.

Right now I am researching productivity ideas and tips so feel free to email them to me or leave them in comments. Here are some great and inspiring resources on the topic:

Custom Celtic Knotwork II

These are the other custom celtic knotwork designs that will be used on my main site. The triskel is going to be challenging to paint with the gold but it will be so worth it! The raven/crows being a theme of mine have continued but downplayed. The picture of the one in the middle is and end/bottom cap for the last R in Baker. I am quite happy at how it will work as a design element to put the eyes back toward the center of the page!
I thank all of you that have given, and continue to give me so much feedback and encouragement! Especially my Amy, my soul sister, my best friend, my anam cara- I can not wait to see you next month!!!
